Winding is our core business since 1954.
Being the bridge between the spinning and downstream processes, the automatic winders must combine high productivity with quality control of the yarns and cones in formation.
The winding process consists of transferring the yarn from a starting bobbin or spool to a final package, that is a rigid cone wrapped in crossed coils. This process allows the yarn to be packaged in a format that is more suitable for subsequent processing, i.e. packages of considerable size and easy to unravel. Simultaneously with the change of format, the quality of the yarn is improved, since any defects present in the yarn are checked and eliminated, thanks to the clearing operation.
