Phoenix is Savio’s solution for the precision assembling process, combining maximum productivity with excellent package quality and reduced production costs. The Multicone system ensures the highest level of flexibility compared to any other winding process. Phoenix can also produce bobbins perfectly suited to feed Two-for-One Twisters. Apart from being a precision winder for producing packages suitable for twisting, it can be configured as a cone-to-cone precision winder, making it ideal for soft packages ready for dyeing as well as hard packages designed for downstream processes.

MAIN FEATURES

The Multicone technology allows the tailoring of package for different end use (twisting) with simple settings on PC. The optimization of the package formation for any downstream process, in terms of shape, taper, traverse, diameters and density, is completely solved by the Multicone System, in combination with the new Electronic Tensioner Device.

Multicone Technology


The machine is designed for assembling 3 plies with internal feeding. The feeding with external creel is up to 4 plies or 3+3 with continuous feeding (head/tail end). Internal creel: maximum diameter 250 mm for cylindrical packages and 260 mm for conical packages.
External creel
: universal peg for packages up to 260 mm.
