Per Filo, Per Segno

From the talent of Luciano Savio to 20th-century posters: a journey through the history of textiles.

Palazzo Del Fumetto, Pordenone, Italy

MORE INFO

To mark Pordenone’s designation as Italian Capital of Culture 2027, Savio presents “Per filo, Per segno”, an exhibition that traces over a century of history through two closely intertwined narratives: the evolution of the company and that of communication within the textile industry, from the 20th century to the present day.

Posters, brochures, advertising campaigns, photographs and archive material guide visitors on a journey that illustrates how the language of communication has transformed over time, reflecting changes in technology, design and industrial culture.

Alongside this narrative, the story of Savio takes shape, from its origins to contemporary innovation: a journey that highlights the company’s ability to anticipate change, evolve and contribute to the development of the textile sector on an international level.

“Per filo, Per segno” is a dialogue between memory and the future, where corporate history meets the culture of communication. Every document, image and object on display bears witness to the value of industrial heritage and illustrates how a company’s identity is also shaped by the languages, images and ideas that have accompanied it over time.

The exhibition will open on 17 October 2026 and will run until 29 March 2027, offering the public the opportunity to discover a history shaped by innovation, culture and communication, in an exhibition that celebrates the past and looks to the future.
