Equality & Inclusion
Savio Macchine Tessili S.p.A. promotes an inclusive, fair and respectful work environment in which each person can express their potential regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation and identity, disability, ethnic origin, political opinions or religious beliefs.
Through policies and concrete actions, Savio actively contributes to the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda for sustainable development, valuing diversity as a driver of growth and innovation.
Last April 2025, Savio obtained the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Gender Equality Certification, an official recognition that confirms our concrete commitment to equity, inclusion and valorization of diversity.
This important achievement stems from a deep and authentic corporate culture: Savio has always paid great attention to the well-being of its people, safety, welfare and social responsibility.
The certification strengthens and formalizes Savio commitment to building an increasingly fair and inclusive work environment. Savio firmly believes that diversity, especially gender diversity, represents a strategic value for the success and sustainability of the organization. Promoting equal opportunities, encouraging a balance between private and professional life, combating all forms of stereotypes and discrimination are principles that underpin its daily actions.
In support of this commitment, has been established a Committee for Gender Equality, composed of:
- Mauro Moro, CEO
- Hans Beerbohm, Human Resources Director
- Michela Bertoldi, Human Resources Manager, Head of the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Management System
- Eva Babbo, Marketing & Communication Manager
The Committee will have the task of promoting concrete actions and monitoring their effectiveness.
In the coming months, training courses will be activated for all employees, with the aim of raising awareness and spreading greater awareness on the topic of equality. Furthermore, Savio will support initiatives and participate in events dedicated to inclusion and the valorisation of diversity, also through sponsorship activities and external partnerships.
This certification is not a point of arrival, but a new starting point. Together, we can continue to build a reality in which all people feel welcomed, respected and valued.
